Fermanagh Camino 2026 Officially Launched Following Successful 2025 Event
The Fermanagh Camino 2026 was officially launched on Tuesday, 25 November, marking the return of the hugely popular three-day charity walk. Following the outstanding success of the 2025 event, organisers are delighted to announce that the Camino will take place again in 2026.
Last year, walkers embraced a three-day journey from Lough Derg to Enniskillen, raising an impressive £41,000 for Cancer Connect NI, a local volunteer-led cancer support charity. The funds raised help support the continued work of the charity to help Fermanagh people and their families navigate a cancer journey. For 16 years the charity has and continues to provide a range of services including counselling, equipment loan service, specialist bra fitting, reflexology as well as practical support.
The 2026 Fermanagh Camino will take place on the weekend 1–3 May, with detailed routes to be announced in the coming year.
Phil from Cancer Connect NI said:
"We are delighted to announce the return of the Fermanagh Camino for a second year. This event highlights the best of Fermanagh, bringing communities together for a good cause whilst showcasing the beauty of the area. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors, partners, volunteers and walkers for their continued support."
